It is the 5th consecutive year that the AHRESP —  Association of the Hotel, Restaurant and Similar Services of Portugal — distinguishes the best of the year in the hotel, restaurant and national tourist promotion sectors.

The category for which we were finalists was intended to award “the website or digital project that had the most contribution to the dissemination and promotion of hotels, restaurants, and the like in Portugal”.

douroworldheritage.com and solardamotta.pt were finalists for Best Digital Project at the AHRESP 2019 awards

In the year in which the highest number of applications ever was registered and the AHRESP Awards Jury Committee was reinforced, our Association chose Alimentaria&Horexpo as the stage for the official announcement of the finalists in the 9 categories subject to voting by the general public.

We would like to thank you for your contribution to the enrichment of this digital resource which, in addition to promoting the Douro region, also promotes the best of Portugal. douroworldheritage.com / solardamotta.pt is a portal whose main objective is to promote the Douro region.

This is five years’ work. We would like to thank you for your support, so that we can continue to develop it.

Thank you all for the success achieved.

Solar Da Motta was the stage for a video clip by Portuguese singer Cati Freitas.

The setting she was looking for to combine with her song “Falo com Deus” was assumed in perfect symbiosis with the intimate atmosphere of Solar da Motta.
